Falls reflection on the Bay

Saturday morning and we are wondering if the sun's coming out.

Looking out over Irondequoit bay I catch the reflection of leaves and a thin fog hanging low over the water.

If you look closely at the picture you can see two white wisps in the trees. I thought I had shot some power lines, but they are actually birds flying through my long exposure!

Hanging at Java's again, caught this dj plying his wares. It was fun to watch him and then I got the bright idea to take some pictures. This is one of my favorites. Enjoy!

I think this is the shot I took right before the nice patrolman asked me what I was doing in the middle of the street. Luckily, he didn't think it was necessary to give me a ticket, just to let me know that I shouldn't do such things as run out into traffic just to get a picture.

Obviously, the man has no passion!

It was also the middle of the night when I shot the picture. By the time I got home to process the shot, it was too late to be up. Now, my brain is fried. Need more sleep, but I want to get some shots of the new bridge before they put the blacktop over it. I love the criss-cross pattern. Can't wait!

If there is one thing that I LOVE to do, it's wander where I don't belong. Last weekend I was down in the Rochester subway, closed in the 50's. Just walked in with no trouble, I love living in a small city!

I'll probably be slogging about there as much as I can before it gets too cold and I'll post some more pics from this trip soon.
